Who We Are
& What We Do
Our mission is to provide evidence-based services leading to increased quality of life through research, advocacy, education, operated services,
and participation in public behavioral health policy design. We believe that by observing and analyzing functional relationships we can build an
environment to support your needs. As we catalyze change, based off of what we know works, together we can grow by building healthy positive
relationships that are meaningful, stronger, and lifelong.
We were incorporated as a non-profit organization in March 2011 and received our state license to provide mental health services the following month.
MBHO became officially recognized as a 501(c)3 organization by the IRS in June of 2013. We currently have contracts with the State of Maine to provide
services across the State. In addition, we have received our Employee Assistance Program and substance abuse licenses. Our med clinic in Skowhegan
provides medication management services. We look forward to continuing our work to make our community better.
